Activity Port Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 June 2026 Activity Port helps users discover activity centres, outdoor activities, family activities, and activity providers around Ireland.
This Privacy Policy explains how Activity Port handles information when you use the Activity Port mobile app. Information We Use Activity Port does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or payment details to use the app.
Location Information Activity Port may request access to your device location so the app can: – Find your current location – Show nearby activity centres – Calculate distance to activity centres – Help open map directions Your location is used for app functionality.
Activity Port does not sell your location information. Activity Centre Information The app loads activity centre and activity information from Activity Port’s backend database.
This may include centre names, activity names, addresses, contact details, websites, map links, and images.
Provider Websites And Third-Party Services The app may let you open activity provider websites, email apps, phone dialler, and map/navigation apps. When you open a third-party website, map, email, or phone service, that service may process information according to its own privacy policy. Information We Do Not Collect In the current launch version, Activity Port does not intentionally collect: – User account details – Passwords – Payment information – User photos or videos – Contacts – Messages – Health information – Calendar information – Advertising ID How We Use Information Activity Port uses information to: – Display activity centres and activities – Show distance from your current location – Help you contact providers – Help you find directions to providers – Improve the usefulness and reliability of the app Sharing Information Activity Port does not sell personal user data. Activity Port may use service providers, such as backend hosting and storage providers, to operate the app and deliver activity centre information. Data Storage Activity centre and activity information is stored in Activity Port’s backend systems.
The app may also store some information locally on your device to help the app work properly. Data Security Activity Port uses HTTPS connections where available to load app data and images. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the app and its backend systems.
Children’s Privacy Activity Port is not specifically directed at children. The app is intended to help general users and families find activity providers. Parents or guardians should confirm activity suitability, ages, prices, booking terms, and safety requirements directly with the activity provider. Accuracy Of Activity Information Activity information may change. Users should confirm availability, opening hours, prices, booking terms, safety requirements, and accessibility directly with the activity provider before travelling or booking.
Your Choices You can choose whether to allow location permission in your device settings. If you disable location permission, the app can still show activity centre information, but location-based distance and Find My Location features may not work.

Data Retention and Deletion
Activity Port does not require users to create an account. We do not collect passwords, payment details, or account profile information through the app.
The app may process or store limited data needed to provide app features, including approximate or precise location data when the user grants location permission, device/app usage information, diagnostics, crash information, and any information a user voluntarily provides when contacting us by email or phone.
Location data is used to show nearby activities and centres. Location data is not kept permanently by Activity Port. If location information is processed temporarily to provide nearby results, it is deleted or no longer retained once it is no longer needed for that purpose.
App diagnostics, crash logs, and basic technical records may be retained for up to 12 months to maintain security, fix bugs, improve performance, and support app reliability. Some records may be retained for longer if required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or regulatory reasons.
Emails or support requests sent to Activity Port may be retained for as long as needed to respond to the request and maintain business records, unless deletion is requested and we are not legally required to keep them.
Users can request deletion of any personal data associated with their use of Activity Port by contacting:

Please include “Activity Port data deletion request” in the subject line. We will review and respond to deletion requests within 30 days. If we do not hold personal data linked to the requester, we will confirm that no deletable personal data is held.
Users can also stop further location access at any time by turning off location permission for Activity Port in their Android device settings or by uninstalling the app.
